Your official headshot photo is securely encrypted for your security and is only accessible via your VetX account.

To facilitate payouts, your bank’s name, routing number, and account number are required to enable secure and automatic deposits directly to your account. As payouts are processed via Stripe, the last four digits of your Social Security number are required for account verification.
- Why we require SSN LAST FOUR DIGITS and DOB: VetX uses STRIPE as it’s payment gateway to process and make payout payments to its connected Veterinarian accounts. Stripe requires a verifiable Employer Identification Number (EIN) or a Social Security Number (SSN) to use their payout services; individuals without an EIN can use their SSN or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) instead. Stripe, not VetX, requires the payee’s SSN and DOB information. Stripe is required to collect, verify, and maintain information on the individuals associated with each Stripe account. These requirements come from our regulators and financial partners and include implementation of the FinCEN Customer Due Diligence rule, which requires identification of those individuals with control over an account (also known as beneficial owners). These requirements are intended to prevent individuals from using complex schemes to hide terrorist financing, money laundering, tax evasion, and other financial crimes. One of the primary reasons we can get users up and running so quickly is our unique registration process. We use an individual's information like date of birth and SSN to programmatically verify their identity so they can start accepting payments immediately. We know that it can be concerning having to give personal information online, but we can assure you that we take: security very seriously here at Stripe.
